A little bit of a hiccup, but ready for a speed-up!!!!

Well, it has been a long time since the last post. Jordan and I both started work back full blast and we hit a very important point in the renovation process. We have been picking out contractors to do insulation, Sheetrock, etc. while working on the floors, working our normal jobs, figuring out our own wedding, while getting things squared away for the two weddings were in this fall! Oh yea, and Jordan has been hunting when he can and I've been training for my next half marathon I have this November. Needless to say we are excited and so blessed for everything we have going on, but we will be so happy when things low down a bit. Both of us have something going on every weekend until Thanksgiving. This Thanksgiving I know what we will be thankful for.... A break!

Next week we will be getting our insulation put in, and our Sheetrock will go up after that, so the next post should demonstrate a much bigger change!!

Our vinyl siding finally got completed and boy were we happy how it turned out!!!

This is the front of the house and our porch!

Remember how the house use to look?!?!

Now Look how great the house looks!!!

Remember those floors that Jordan and I uncovered down stairs, well there were one upstairs that we're not covered up, and Jordan worked hard one weekend sanding them down! Look how pretty!
Over the years, this is how the varnish turned the beautiful pine floors a dark color, but look at the contrast.

The dormers also have new vinyl.

So, we still have a lot left to do. By the end of October, we hope to have insulation, Sheetrock, floors sanded all the way, yard graded and sowed, electric, and heating and air hooked up. If these can get finished, all we will lack is painting, installation of all of our bathroom details, cabinets, kitchen floors, and additional cosmetic items. It's stressful at times, but I know that we have people looking out for us in each step of the way with the house and with the wedding. Soon, hopefully by Christmas, this renovation will be ready for me to move into our southern home!

P.S. I said yes to my dream wedding dress, and in 266 days I'll get to marry my best friend!!! #joiningthejessups
